its a great source to refer to regarding all pregnancy queries
and women issuesI can't totally help you, but I hope it helps a little bit. I don't know if you can get it over the counter or not, but there is one pill called like ortho tri cyclen-lo which is supposed to be a really good one with a smaller chance of side effects than any of the others. This is because it has one of the smallest amounts of the hormone in it that causes all the side effects. I was so against all the pills and stuff due to side effects, but then when I had two kids only 1 year and 4 days apart, I went on it. I started it right after my second was born and she is now 18 months old and I have never had one problem with it. 1. She would have to find a pill that fits with her. None of the pills are going to kill her, one might make her moody, the other might make her break out, and so on... But non have serious side effects.
2. I dont beleive that you can get them over the counter yet, but calling your nearest Planned Parenthood will provide them for her at a low or no cost.
3. There are no long term side affects with Birth Control or else millions of women woudlnt take them daily.
There is nothing wrong with condoms either and in my opinion they are much more preventive. That was my source of BC for over 8 years and we never had one mishap or slip up.
I am glad that you young people are taking precautions, it is about time with your generation! Bravo to you!
PS I would talk to a doctor also if you are this concerned. It seems like you have a lot of questions about this.
Do you think you are ready for sex?I GOT PREGNANT ON THE PILL TWICE. IF SHE GETS PREGNANT ARE YOU ABLE TO WORK AND SUPPORT THAT BABY? ARE YOU WILLING TO SACRIFICE ALL YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS TO GO TO SOME "GO NOWHERE" JOB FOR THE NEXT 19 YEARS? CAN YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE, FOOD, SHELTER AND SECURITY? I BET YOU STILL LIVE AT HOME WITH YOUR PARENTS!!!!!!
STOP TREATING YOUR GF LIKE AN UNPAID WHORE!!!!! SHE IS A CHILD AND YOU SHOULD HONOR HER INNOCENCE.They don't sell pills over-the-counter. However, she can go make an appointment with the OBGYN. There is no pap smear involved. They just ask you a couple questions and try to decide which form of birth control is best. I have been on the pill for about 6 months, now. The only side-effect is that you gain weight. And of course your chances of becoming pregnant are going to increase with any form of birth control if you decide to stop taking it.
Hope this helps.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
