We got DIF and it worked great. Removed the glue layer so much easier. Now we want to prime. Do we need to clean the walls first? Theres few spots here and there we will try to clena off more though. Any suggestions, ThanxsPrimer or paint won't stick to wallpaper glue so if you have any residual glue on the wall, you will notice this after you prime. You might try taking some sandpaper lightly to any areas you think may still have some glue on it.Primer is for bare surfaces and a few problem surfaces. If your walls were painted under that wallpaper it is improper to prime. You need to get 95% of the glue off, sanding the last bit.
In recent years lots of DIYers and stores selling expensive primer are trying to make it normal to prime painted walls. It is completely unecessary.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
