Canjet joins AirMiles reward program
book their reward travel on Halifax-based CanJet Airlines, voted "Canada's
Best Value Airline" in 2003 by Tourist News Magazine. With the addition of
CanJet to its Reward portfolio, AIR MILES Collectors can now redeem for
flights on seven airline Reward suppliers serving domestic, transborder and
international routes.
"Our new Reward relationship with CanJet means AIR MILES Collectors will
have even more travel reward options, with more flights between Atlantic and
Central Canada and to popular destinations in the U.S.," said Bryan Pearson,
President, AIR MILES Reward Program.
"CanJet Airlines is delighted to join the AIR MILES Reward Program as a
Reward supplier," said Julie N. Gossen, Executive Vice-President & COO, CanJet
Airlines. "This partnership offers AIR MILES Collectors the opportunity and
option to fly CanJet and we are confident it will create a win-win scenario
for both organizations."
CanJet provides domestic flights to St. John's, Deer Lake, Moncton,
Halifax, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Hamilton as well as service to five
U.S. destinations, including Chicago Midway, New York LaGuardia, Sarasota
Bradenton, St. Petersburg and West Palm Beach. The airline has continued to
expand its service over recent months adding new aircraft and destinations to
its schedule.
"Along with our other valued airline Reward suppliers, this new Reward
option demonstrates our commitment to support a strong and competitive
domestic, transborder and international airline industry," Mr. Pearson added.
The new agreement, effective April 1, 2004, was announced in Halifax
earlier today, where the AIR MILES Reward Program also introduced its newest
Sponsor in Canada's premier coalition retail loyalty program, Sobeys'
subsidiary, Lawtons Drugs Stores, a leading pharmacy chain in Atlantic Canada
with 59 stores.
