LGW - LAX - LAS - NYC - LAX - BRS
$908 all in.

That said, that's a lot of EQMs for not a lot of flights, and you have to consider convenience.
Yes I do need to fly to those destinations. There are a total of ten segments in there (LAX - LAS via SLC. LAS - NYC via something and NYC back to LAX via something. LGW - LAX via something and LAX back to BRS via EWR)
Hmmmm. NW NY - Europe for what???? Could extend and squeeze in.

Sounds a little on the expensive side. Mid January is low season and I just booked some travel to the east coast for $490 all in on ST. If you can add a cheap $200 transcon you might get down to $700. However, given your date/destination constraints, it might be tough to actually construct this trip. I guess you are flying NW for the upgrades? How do you get from 5.6 down to 2.5 with the bonus? Am I missing out on a FB promotion?
PS: I hope you will make your 40k miles by the end of February :)
I just flew from iad to sacramento and got like 6,500 eqm miles for $200. going iad-sfo-smh-sfo-sea-iad.
the problem is the taxes going overseas makes u.s. runs worth more, unless there are additional bonuses or you go farther
If you watch the mileage run forums, you'll come up with some interesting stuff. Back in early September, NW (mistakenly, I think), offered flights from a few cities (SEA and SFO, and maybe another one or two) for *just* the fuel surcharge of $100-$110, plus tax. So all in flights to many European cities were in the low $200 range with tax.
I flew SEA-AMS-SVO for about $210, all in. As always, you've got to jump on these deals when you see them, as they usually evaporate pretty quick. I think it lasted for a day or two.

How about 5.1 cents per EQM? (90800/17774). Yes, I'm getting picky here, but it's about a 10% difference, which is significant.
Enjoy your flights!

Isn't there a 75% bonus for GE or did I get that wrong?
I've got a question - where do you find those cheap AZ flights?

did you sign on for the skyteam promotion?
2000 for each transatlantic segment

I also know DL can be pretty good cheap with a multistop trip. That may be worth a try.
Are there still USA passes available? Buy one TATL flight and add the rest with coupons.
