so im a 14 year old girl, sophomore in high school, and I want to make a difference in the world, but just dont know what to do. something like cellphones for soldiers is exactly what would interest me, but i just don't know. any ideas??Learn as much as you can about things like social service, first aid, etc. Then get in touch with organizations such as the Red Cross and find out what you can do as a volunteer with them, what training you would need. For instance the Red cross has crisis intervention groups.
Or find out about Non government Organizations working in less privileged countries. Perhaps you could spend part of a summer with them.
The important thing is to learn as much as you can about the kind of service you would like to do. The more you learn, the more training you have, the more useful you can be.please let me know your answer.
